I saw it ingame while making the preview. Quality loss is not significant
And for the head you can be sure because you know we have 256 and 512 textures
Can I see an ingame screenshot? (meaning the resized 128's ;P)

I'm curious about the difference, I think it wont be that much, but it will make the head stand out.
I'm curious if that'll look weird, or better :B

the set overall is a little dark and in those pictures, it looks like there are random bright spots in the darkness, it need to be more open like the front of the shins

I dl'ed you, there are a few points which I don't like.

1. You used one picture for the entire torso.
2. The set lost many of it's crispyness which it was based on.
3. Although I kinda like the hands, it's to bad it isn't more hand-like :B
4. The torso is darker than the rest of the set.

I also noticed you used a style of making square pics, and pasting them together to form the individual textures,
am I right? I do like your editing skill, it's pretty far above average.

I like the what I think are eyes, good job on those.
The overall idea is good, but not possible in 128^2.
Try skipping some details, to get that edge you want.
