Lets admit something that we all do in common on the internet.
The topic is just pointless and useless but hey I realized most of us do things like that. I just want to kill some time with you guys.
I've been using 60% of google to correct my spellcheck.
I'm not impured british, australian, canadian or american to have an advanced vocabulary. I'm from a foreign country born and raised there. My interest in english begun when I was 7 years old, playing final fantasy: mystic quest I had understood only the 20% of what these guys we're talking about such as directions or on how to find items that make your hero even more powerful to defeat evil bosses or strong monsters.
Thanks to my english teacher I had learned a thing or two, then search to my english-greek vocabulary book and started to figure out the sentences. But I really had not interest when i was on any class, I was not paying attention at any of the school lessons, Untill i undestood that english is very important in this decade because on every country you will go, there will be certain that it will have english people that need to communicate with someone, or if you visit a rich country like britain is you will definetely need to know the basics.
Well back to my topic.
I don't think it is wrong at all. It is the complete opposite, because the internet today seek cultured people with an acceptable and reasonable knowledge. If someone calls you a retard, that doesn't point out that you are a litteraly mentaly disfunctional. It's mostly used to characterize a bad opinion, or just an emotional (anger) dissagreement with a specific fact.
Now in my private english school, I'm the teacher's favourite.

Uhm, no.
Maybe more people from China speak chinese on the internet, but tell me the last time you had a conversation with people from various countries in Chinese. In Europe, America and so on most schools don't even offer courses for Chinese.
Chinese can hardly become a global language due to its complexity.
Heck, there are thousands of characters you'd need to learn.
The only way Chinese will be a global languages everyone speaks is when China decides to take over the world in order to form a world government.

Most of China's population is considered illiterate by our standards. You don't need to learn thousands of characters.
