Keep the discussion in spoilers to prevent suffering
As a concept, it seems pretty silly, but I liked playing with it a bit, so I tried extrapolating it out to some different concepts e.x. the existence of god/religious worship/the popular phrase "heard u wuz talkin shit", and it's fun to think about if you aren't terrified of it. If you have specific things to say related to the Basilisk, do it in spoilers to prevent accidentally damning people for eternity pls & thx

So what exactly are you trying to get out of this thread? Besides, you already spoiled it yourself.
