Damn, I loved The Mist.
Another reason why religion is a bad thing, IMO.
Also, if you read the short story, as I have, they tend to CHANGE EVERY ENDING IN STEPHEN KING'S BOOKS. All the time. 1408 was not horror-like enough, the short story was about the horrifying claustrophobic atmosphere, The Mist was pretty much the same besides the ending, which was totally awesome and realistic. (Except that my dickhead boss ruined it for me weeks earlier.)
And I have yet to see The Shining, though the book is one of the best I've ever read. (The hedge part is brilliant, amazingly simple) I don't know if I want to see the movie. The Dark Half by Stephen King is one of my favorite books, but everyone says to NEVER see the movie, which I won't be. Same with IT.
