After introducing, I suggest reading the Forum need-to-knows thread. Be sure to read the instructions in that thread carefully as it guides you through the most important thing to keep in mind here at forum: "The rules." :

After you have read that, I suggest reading the IRC guide here:

IRC can be really helpful when you have quick questions to ask. I also suggest getting an IRC client as soon as you read that guide.
