Fuck yeah, Pink Flag is THE punk album.

There is still good punk out there, it's just a lot harder to find. Oh and I'm a pretty big fan of subgenres like hardcore punk and post-punk. So overall I'd say I prefer punk over metal and hardcore.

Metal. But that song doesn't represent all or original metal, just death metal. Choose something like Iron Maiden, or Dio, or something near those lines.

Also, if you like punk and haven't listened to Iceage's New Brigade yet, get on that shit. I've listened to it non-stop for the last week. Music doesn't get much better IMHO. Then again I have a thing for fast, catchy and noisy punk. (No Age, Male Bonding)

depending on the band punk can be good or it can be absolutely shit XD
metal is ( dont hate on me ) fucking shit, cause u cant hear the vocals and tbh all i hear is some fast guitars and moaning dudes and thats defenetaly not what i wanna listen in my spare time. when i first read hardcore i thought about hardcore(-metal) just like asking alexandria but wtf that techno stuff is just ew.
