I played Warhammer Fantasy, but then I kinda got bored of it... A lot of rules to remember and a lot of dudes to paint.

i'll have to admit it, too. i play miniature games, so to speak warhammer40k. i got around ~5000 points of marines and growing, and vaguely the same amount of points worth in tyranids.

the whole mass of painting really scares me...
