-9.82 is hard to flow because of how floaty it is. Movements last longer and therefore you have to control your joints better, because in -30 if you jump and spin you'll most likely hit the ground before it's completed.
For example, say I have a replay. From frame 300 to 200 my tori spins. I rotate the chest and raise the shoulders, but that arm and chest movement only takes about 20 frames. That means that for 80 frames my tori won't be doing anything besides rotating in the air, and sometimes that can look stupid.
