You don't really need content aware fill either. But yeah, I did content aware fill for some parts, heal tool for others, and smudged the rest away, since objects adjacent to other objects don't work well with the first two tools.

Well, you don't even need content aware fill. Just use the select tool and cut him out and paste. It doesn't take long at all.
