I thought this is a bit slow so I speeded it up for you.
I seem to suck at breaking elbow with wrists. Couldn't manage to break them. That's why it's called almost.
It's no valid entry because I edited his replay, I know that.
Would end in something like 250 frames.

The trick is to weaken the elbow in advance, the close the arm as fast as possible, then, as soon as you can, extend the arm again so it still grabs itself.
That's how I got the original full-self to go.
