Hard to choose, as when you choose the first it is just "things" and not like the second "everything", so I am tempted to choose both assuming the first means "everything" as well.
Sometimes coяncidence strikes in such weird and awesome ways that I belief there had to be a reason ( though i never had god or anything like that for it ) just lessons in life.
Though with the slightest coincedence i am already looking for a reason I might add.
At other moments its hard finding a better reason for being alive, then just being alive and not knowing if there even is a reason, and if that reason maybe even is the reason to be looking for that reason in the first place.
