Oh well, the idea seems nice, but we've tried to do such a collaboration project earlier, and it failed.

I think using the alpha channel should come back into fashion as there's more room for innovation as your not confined by a sphere as much.

for example here's one of My favourite heads with transparency, from aaaaggggeesss ago when I first opened my shop ^_^


Since then I've only made like 4 heads with alpha. -_-

never been a fan of pure transparency, a slight tint would be quite nice, opaque rather than transparent. would work really well on that head

also, anyone feel like previewing raytracing + transparency?
