Oh look. A trapdoor. RIGHT WHERE THE HIPPO IS! After seeing the map you try to move the hippo by taking the curtains off of the window and wrapping it around its neck and pulling it down.

It seems that the acid weakened the floor, allowing the hippo to fall through
