I'm prepared to cry at their inability to grasp basic mechanics.

That reminded me of the time when I didn't read item descriptions as every past game I had ever played didn't make it necessary to know the description as it only talks about the history of the weapon or a random description etc etc...
So I thought multiple brown boots = more speed, ended up at 0-14 k/d and being laughed at.
Dota 2 taught me to read, which all the previous games I had ever played failed at doing, and my mother said that Dota doesn't help you with anything...
