The elo ranking in cs:go consists of a few things.
1. It tracks the kill death ratio in each game played.
2. It's also affected with wins or losses.
3. It tracks the amount of MVP stars in each match.
4. It also helps to have consecutive wins (win streak).
So if you have 10 wins and you've won 10 out of like 15 matches and have had a good kdr (for example end of a game 15 kills and 10 deaths is a pretty decent kdr), a good amount of MVP stars(4 to 5 per game), and had like 6 games won consecutively. Then after your 10 wins you would have the rank of Gold Nova 3 or 4. This is for people who don't completely understand the elo ranking in CS:GO yet.

You have to be on a winning streak for chance of being in a higher skill group. Do you even csgo bruh?
