Weekly Coursework #4: Shields
Another week, yet another weekly theme
Shields
So you just have to make a cool shield.
Here are a few styles you could use:
Steampunk
Tech
Medieval
Prehistoric
Natural
Organic
Reptilian
Need I specify more?
May inspiration shine upon you.
Grades:
Prada : 6
It was an effort but it makes me think that you only did it not to be kicked.
Flamespike : 8
Rather simple concept but some interesting shapes and well defined and original

Really simple, looks weird needs a LOT more work

You're the only one that sees that as a robot. But you put some effort into it

Its good but I feel you got lazy, no hands, legs head or anything that resembles

Very good work but you should have detailed it a wee bit more.

The only thing that makes it look like a robot are the missles and arms. It's just a sphere. However I like the concept and it looks decent

Im not looking exactly for originality im looking more for diversity. Different themes require different techniques in each software so you might learn something new with every week.
Plus it can be difficult if you go into detail like making indents, extruding, applying some patterns and such
