about the banner, I'm not an artist so excuse me, I made a weak blueprint.

With "Companions" somewhere, it would be great.
Oh and yes I didn't precise it but... the.. thing between gallic 1-2 is a barrel...
If Gallic 2 can put a foot at the top of the barrel, it can look badass.

Well for the banner, I would say old style if it mean like marvel comics (for sure not hyper detailed like them)
About logo, I got an idea too, but more cartoony.
I was about a mug of beer
A sword in the class like a drinking straw
And a shield, like a cocktail umbrella.
