Could someone make a post like this... (and just disable the real signature) if they want an image sig without having a premium account or whatever it's called (ok, less than that, but you get the idea) and just paste it into every post?

Well sure. You could, but that would be quite a hassle to keep ctrl+ving the link everytime you post.
I dont think anyone will infract you for it unless you actually did have a "signature" that tall on every post

plus if its that tall everyone will probably hate your posts...

Yeah of course you could do this.

The whole point of a sig was so you could 'sign it' without having to sign each individual post.

So signing it yourself makes sense.
