This event will take place on Friday, December 28th, at 21:30 GMT.
In Australia, this corresponds to Saturday at anywhere between 06:30 (Perth) to 8:30 (Sydney).
In the United States, this corresponds to Friday at anywhere between 13:30 (Pacific) to 16:30 (Eastern)
Europeans probably won't have any trouble figuring out what time it is for them.

This event will take place at server 15.

The format - You will fight in a 100 minute long free-for-all, in the middle of which, the rules will change.

The first ruleset:
match frames: 200
turnframes: 40
mod: classic
disqualification: 0
dismember threshold: 125
fracture threshold: 100
dojosize: 300
engage distance: 125

The second ruleset:
match frames: 200
turnframes: 40
mod: classic
disqualification: 0
dismember threshold: 125
fracture threshold: 100
dojosize: 300
engage distance: -125

The 4 players who score the most wins will proceed to the finals.

In the finals, the 4 finalists will fight under the following rules for 20 minutes:
match frames: 250
turnframes: 50
mod: classic
disqualification: 0
dismember threshold: 125
fracture threshold: 100
dojosize: 300
engage distance: 0
engage rotation: 125

The prize for this contest is Toxic Blood.


Other rules:
You must have a black belt or higher to participate (not my call, sorry guys).
It is not a win if your opponent is AFK or disconnected.
There is no need to sign up, just show up and fight.
You can join in at any time, the server will not be locked.
Those who over-swear, especially at the officials, risk getting kicked.

Note the underlined changes: if they go well, they'll become a permanent part of the contest, and will be used once per month (at the 4th week of each month).

the second hour of this is gonna clash with the world chapionships

hmm, sorry, i see that now. the event hosts usually have to reserve the server in advance to make sure times don't clash, and no-one reserved time for the world championship. as i'm pretty sure the world championship takes precedence over my island survival tourneys, i'll change this to start at 9:30 GMT, unfortunately this means most australians won't make it, as it's too early.
