meh gimp is pretty much the same as Photoshop unless you're super advanced and if you are i have no chance of beating you anyway.
Also people used to using Photoshop could be like "wtf is this" on the gimp interface so it wouldn't be fair on them.
I say let people use photoshop

i really feel like i should let people use photoshop because like that i can see what you can do
with the limit of gimp you cant show all your skills but its a little bit unfair for the gimpers...
and aakash it has quite a difference in effects tools layer effects layer manipulation etc but yeah you have to have a certain level of knowledge in the program to be able to use them correctly or well...
but i cant let the participants decision to be solved by one single person...
