Its made by what is basically the leading company of graphics tablets I think, so I'm sure it is good.

I recently picked up a Genius brand tablet for about 60 bucks online. For my purposes it will work, but if I planned on using it for serious digital painting or something I wouldn't recommend it. I suppose it really all boils down to what you will be using it for. If its casual, I would say go with a low end tablet (though I think the bamboo is the cheapest Waco), but your going to be doing some serious work, you may as wall get the nicest one you can.

Wacom creates very good tablets. Bamboo Fun is a tablet for Begginer-SemiPro artists. I have one and I am really happy with it, I have made some great textures and drawings using my Bamboo. I'd really reccomend it ;-)

If you are a Pro with a lot of money, you can buy Wacom Cintiq

If you buy a Wacom Bamboo Fun you will not regret it.

P.S.
I have bought a Medium (A5) version. I don't know how Small (A6) works.
