You Download Songs and Play them - theyre All community Made.
There are 4 different game modes which All work differently, but theyre All about basically getting the highscore.
Theres is a Ranking System based on PP, as harder the Song ist and as better u Perform the more PP und will get for finishing it. Which will ultimatley get you a higher global Ranking.
Alot of people (im Part of those) Play this game to train their reflexes for other games. Without osu! I wouldnt be as good as i am in csgo or league.

clearing maps, getting highscores, beating people. you can play ctb,taiko,osu mania, and the standard
mania is like DDR/Stepmania if you have played it before.

you can only train your reaction speed to be 10-20% faster though, might aswell just stick to csgo and league
