Most noise has no rhythm section. Noise essentially abandons all conventions of traditional music, opting for BRRRRRZZRRRRRZRRRRRT and PEW PEW PEW at random intervals for 20 minutes a track.
Essentially, all the appeal of noise is simply that it "transcends" music by essentially being the antithesis of music. It's art for the sake of art, without analogy or influence from what sounds aesthetically pleasing.
Try arguing that a Jackson Pollock has more artistic merit than a Rembrandt.
