with this same line of consideration: browsing forums is also a waste of time.
but thats just you, i rather live happy life as a nerd, you're taking the "smartness vs. happyness" really hard, as it's possible to live both.

yes
it really is a waste of time, but i generally keep it open while doing my work, to see if there are any replies. i don't browse it unnecessarily though.
