A: No, it's been like that for a while.
If you want a kickass desktop, use rainmeter. It's da best. Might be a bit hard to use at first, but if you manage to understand the basics it should drastically improve how awesome your desktop is. Check out some pictures and stuff.

I've Used Rain Meter, A bit fun to toy with. I have shit RAM Atm, when I get More RAM And my new video card I'll re-install it.
