But I don't consider photoshopped pictures "art". All it is is other people's art, only reassembled in a new format. You swiped Master Chief's head, Samus's head, a clock, and a phonebooth over a crosshatched gradient, and suddenly its "art".

How is it NOT art? How is taking old ideas and combining them in new, fresh and appealing ways NOT art? I don't see how.

Because it isn't original, its combining other people's work, and taking credit for it. It reminds me of plagiarism. See, I wouldn't have any beef with it, if in the image itself, it had where the images came from, or stated that the images that were copied and pasted in weren't original characters.

Thus, it IS art, but it is not a completely original work.
