To my recollection, we banned specific PLN sets from being sold as many of his texture sets mashups were copy pasted off other sites. I remember iTemp being upset as he spent money acquiring one, but later couldn't resell it.

So I'm not confident that any global ban on all sets have been made, but for sure he has been banned in the past for plagiarism and using other people's assets in his work and if one were being sold I'd exercise caution to see if the one your buying was a genuine work of his. This is what I've gathered from speaking with Creati0n, Icky, and Reta.
