I've tried many times with the flame browser, but fail to understand, can someone give me a tutorial on this?

You could always use the command /lf

e.g. /lf 0 <flameid>

*you can preview up to five flames : /lf 0 <flameid> <flameid> <flameid> <flameid> <flameid>

ctrl J to bring up the flame id boxes
spam click + until the flames start showing up on tori, it takes a few seconds for them to load initially
put flame id in a box and load it

make sure you have particles turned on
