how do i upload a picture?

Upload it to a image sharing site, like Imageshack.com, Photobucket, Imgur etc... Get the "Direct Link" by either copying it from one of the boxes or by right clicking the image and selecting "Copy Image Address".

Paste your address, and there you go. If the image is HUGE I'd recommend putting it in a spoiler.
