Need help with my PC upgrade
I've recently noticed that I need to upgrade my computer, but I need help to check if the hardware I'm gonna buy are fully compatible with each other.

So, here's what I'm planning to upgrade my PC to:

AMD Bulldozer FX 8150 3.6GHz 16MB AM3+ FD8150FRGUBOX
MB Asus M5A88-M p/ AMD AM3+ Box
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 - CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B
HD Seagate 1000GB (1TB) SATA 3 7200 RPM 6Gb/s - ST31000524AS
VGA Sapphire HD6770 Radeon 1024MB (1GB) DDR5 PCI-Express - 11189-10-20G(already own)
3R System iCEAGE 500w IA500HP80(already own)

I'm also thinking about keep my current 500GB HD and use both 500GB and 1TB, and I'd like to know if there is any problem using different kind of HD (my 500gb one is SATA 1 while the 1TB one is SATA 3).
Also, I know that using 1333MHz RAM with 1600MHz will force the 1333 one overclock to 1600, but that kind of overclock is bad or it's okay to do that?

Cheers

it is a high power cpu,
but... You probably won't use it.

and buy it now is backstab.

About SATA I have nerver seen any problem with sata, the input is the same.

I know that it's a high power CPU, but AMD prices compared with intel ones are cheaper, that's why I'm choosing it.

That setup looks nice so far, the only low point might be the VGA.

The RAMs will only overclock themselves if you set it that way(don't do that, if you don't know what you're doing), on default the 1600 ones downclock to 1333. Missunderstood that one, it is okay to overclock the RAMs, but yeah, as long as you know what you're doing. But in my experience overclocking it has no major advantages though.

You won't have many problems with the Hard Drives, all the sATA connectors are the same, and their architecture is pretty much similar, the number (1-3) basically represents the speed it is capable of(simplified), though you shouldn't care about their speed as long as you aren't using SSDs.

It is more than enough though.

Correct.

Just didn't like the "AMD is cheaper than intel". Because it's not, maybe if you only look at clock speed and number of cores... but that's pretty naive.
You'd probably want to step away from the x1xx series of amd fx-series processors and look into the new x3xx series. The 8320 and 8350 are great for 8 cores, look into a 4300 or 6300 even if they are too expensive. Probably still a better option than the 8150.

The Hard drives are fine, but since you already have a 500gb HDD, step away from getting another HDD and look into buying a SDD. Use the 500gb HDD for mass storage, and use the SDD for booting windows, certain games, etc. Speeds up everything a lot.

Everything else seems okay, motherboard is a bit on the low end, but other than that, good luck.
I know that Intel's architecture is much better than AMD's but the thing is, I do not have enough money to purchase a better CPU since my country has a fucking retard amount of taxes for electronic stuff.
Faint, thanks for the comment, I'd love to buy a x3xx one but I can't find it for sale where I live, that's why I'm choosing a x1xx one.
About the SSD, I'm not sure, I really need more space for mass storage atm and again, because of the fucking high prices, even the worst SSD here is much more expensive than a 1TB HD.

EDIT:

I've found another CPU+Motherboard combo(and probably better)

Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5-3570K 3.40Ghz 6MB LGA1155 - BX80637I53570K
MB GigaByte p/ Intel GA-B75M-D3H LGA1155 Box

Or the 8150 + M5A88-M ?
