Google chrome is freezing
My chrome keeps freezing when I try to watch a youtube video / watch a twitch.tv stream and sometimes shows a message telling me that shockwave has stopped working. What's the problem? Does chrome sucks?
How can I make it work properly?

i5 3570k 3.8GHz
8 GB RAM 1600MHz
1.5 TB HD

Update shockwave.
I'm using Chrome on 3 different OS's on 5 different boxes and I've never had a single problem with youtube or twitch. I can guarantee that it is because you misconfigured something and is not a problem with Chrome.

YT's been updating their player again making it unstable on older plugins, so do what the cow said.
If it carries on then you'll have to disable hardware acceleration since some drivers can make flash/shockwave spit the dummy.
