My mouse has disapppeared and my task bar has gone back to windows 98 style.
I had a virus but i squashed it with Malwarebytes antimalware and Eset. I tried doing a system restore and it worked once, then I messed about with the startup functions and its back to the way it was.
I tried using the keys to control the cursor via shift crtl nmlock or whatever it is but the mouse doesn't show up.

I think Malwarebytes took out some mouse regestry keys but with no mouse I cant restore them. Please help me.

Hmmmmm... Just curious how did you get the virus? If you really are having that many problems try taking it to your nearest store that sells computers or a friend or someone that can help you... Because that has happened to me and I was still able to restore it by using the arrow keys to navigate the menu.

how were you able to get to internet?

If the reset your computer and it's originally 98, then it stays 98 because that is how it was made. You will have to reinstall vista or whatever it was.
