Try to lure the bird to eat the worms on the wall by running to the worm-covered wall and standing in front of it until the bird comes to you. When it's upon you wait until it tried to peck you, and dive out of the way. Hopefully the bird will become distracted for long enough that you can run up it's back and throw your sheet around it's head to use it like reins.

First ignore all the retarded comments from the croud. Second, you might want to run away/around the room and such. This bird could strike at any moment. When you get a chance, try to talk to the man.

try to be friendly to the bird give it a pet or two. But if it snaps when you get close run and take cover under the blanket in your inventory

now, throw the curtain over the other man, and run over to him. run in circles around the man to try and confuse the bird. hopefully, the bird will attack the other man, and you can make your escape.
