But 899 laptops aren't usually too great for gaming. Well I can run pretty much any game I want (mostly free mmorpgs) but not in high details.

I'd say so. Most of the computers on ibuypower are great compared to ones from dell or gateway.

Don't expect good performance on crysis though :3

Well, a computer would be ideal for gaming. To answer your question, yes but however your probably going to get a shitty fps. Most laptops can't comprehend such graphics from those type of games.
Even if you had lowest setting settings you would probably need to have your resolution really low, as in below 800x600 to play without lag.

That laptop would do the trick, but just barely. I really recommend building a desktop if you want to do any gaming.
