Whenever I play I cant hear neither mine, nor the opponents kiai sound. Whenever I ask in chat, they say its all good for them. Its been going on for a while now and I cant see any option in the option menu to fix it. Also, all other sounds are working.

Hello there! That's a known issue with the Steam version and will probably be fixed in a future update.
Also, if you want kiais to work, download the standalone version from toribash.com

Note: the issue is only with Toribash 5.0 (which is only on steam)
When you get the standalone, you'll be getting Toribash 4.95

lol ive been having this problem too but i dont think its cuz of the update as it has happend just a few days ago

Its because of the update KG7.
The update happened about a month ago, and its still only on steam so its bugs will be fixed in time. For 5.0 theres also a match making glitch.
Just download the standalone for it to fix the problem.
