feminists are the believers of equality for both sexes, extremist feminists sometimes think that women should have more rights over men (which defeats the whole point of feminism), but, we had that discussion already so lets not get into that.
basically it may seem like women are treated better while you're young although they actually have less rights then men and are seen to be more weaker, vulnerable etc.
