Is it possible for the Wii version to play with the computer version? just wondering.

No there completly to different systems and they work different on each.

i understand that. however. games such as lost planet 2 and shadowrun also work slightly differently but are able to cross platform.

It would be impossible, you don't seem to understand these are entirely different games.
