I've recently been having the dumbest problem possible with this headset, It was working fine for months up until yesterday, my computer just doesn't seem to want to recognize my device, it wont even tell me that it's plugged in.

When I go to check recording devices from the volume panel it says I'm using FrontMic, or some shit like that. I'll talk into my headset and the meter won't move. I've even restored my pc at one point, still nothing. Any idea how to fix this? The microphone is not muted, everything is plugged in, my computer is just being a real dickhead about it. Haelp plz

Are you sure you are using the right port?

Probably the drivers, happened to a few my headsets and my Ipod.
Have you tried Google?

I've tried installing new drivers, didn't really do anything.
And yes, I'm using the correct port ЌЌ I even tried the ones in the back
