we want greenish colors to be the main color value, other than that you choose as you please.

font, preferably something grungy/horror. Like the one in the image.

For the logo itself we want an evil smile/grin like the one in the image, a monster looking character. Something that fits the word "Maniac"

it must look good on a small scale too, since the steam profile picture in-game is quite small, and it will be printed on t-shirts.

1st and 3rd link works sometimes, other times not, but I think you get my point without having to look at the images. If you want to see them just google "Root gaming logo"

Since this hasn't been filled yet, I thought I'd take a wack at it. "Better" is really subjective, so I kept the original design and added some shading. Then I changed out the eyes. Lastly, I changed the nostrils, though I'm not sure I did the right thing there.
I also changed up the color scheme, while keeping the green for the text. This may not be what you want.
I had another idea for the logo that doesn't feature a maniac face but I think it may get the idea across better.

What do you want me to change, add or remove?
Also, do you want a special font for it or should I keep the old one?
