Right, let's get a topic rollin'
What's your favorite album right now, and why?

I like world's end girlfriend: farewell kingdom right now, it's amazing when you're out on a walk. It's mostly post rock with a fair share of melancholy. Lots of glitch too but you get used to it. It's also an incredibly relaxing album.

Can't comment on it right now as my headphones are broken and I have no speakers, but my favorite album right now is : Fall out boy: The young blood chronicles. (I couldn't find another video, and that one doesn't include ''Light them up'' for some reason .-.)

Wolololololo
Lazors: songs starting with piano but great melody. very interesting and non standard. breakcore/glitch at 3:15 didnt really appeal to me, sounded a bit forced. it got really good at 4:20 () though, when it all came together in the mix and the panning back and forth stopped for the most part. overall good listen, good production and lasting melody

SrCheetah: fob is not my stuff, i listened to a few minutes of it and it seemed what i expected (pop rock beats, few key changes where they should be etc. not to bash on the band, but its just stuff that doesnt appeal to me that im sure other people like)

Stanton Warriors - Stanton Session (Vol. 1)

sample:

i think im gonna name a replay after this song

the song is not by Stanton Warriors because the album is a continuous mix of songs by artists related to Stanton Warriors (label-mates, friends etc)

ive been a fan of this album for years but recently listened to the whole thing again and its still pretty sweet

oh yeah
@lazors, the violin that kicked in at 0:50 was very enjoyable and worked well with the gentle build up of the whole song, however as pusga added, the glitch felt unnatural and didn't work for me at all.

@sr, pretty sure the name of that album is 'save rock and roll', but, it is truly pretty mediocre even compared to some of their old stuff.

@pusga, straight off the bat I started to like the beat, however it did get pretty repetitive until the effects started and freshened things up. maybe something I would listen to once, but, probably get bored of after that.

at the moment my favourite album is still Interpol's Turn On The Bright Lights, just because it has such few faults and is so memorable. my favourite song has to be stella.

almost two different songs in one, however this song isn't as melancholy as others on this album and i suggest anyone who enjoys this song to give it a deeper look - it wasn't remastered for nothing you know.
[19:59] <Lazors> man it's a good thing people don't see what i write here

I just realized I like a lot.

I had a 14 hour car drive yesterday, and I ended up listening to this album quite a bit throughout the journey, specifically "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall".

My favorite album at the moment is American Idiot because it's the only recent album by Green Day that I enjoy. Their old stuff is so much better.

I don't know if i have a favorite album tbh.

Actually, nevermind. it would probably be Settle, by Disclosure. Ive been listening to that album a lot lately, I've really been getting back into deep house, and this album seemed like a great place to start.

I don't know if i have a permanent favorite album tho, my music tastes change a LOT.

All of the songs on this album are really good, but this one is my favorite personally. The other songs are good, but this one is just a peice of gold, imo.

Actually, can anybody recommend a few deep house artists that are really good? That would be really helpful.
