The question is simple. I would try to find shelter and find some great guns.

I'd get three of my most trusted friends, equip them with high powered weapons and a lot of ammunition, then go to wal-mart and fortify the place down.

I would go find the nearest gun shop and hide there, And since there's alot of gun's and bullet's there it would be awhile before you would have to go to another shelter.
