Revolution in albania; political corruption
There is currently a riot of over 300,000 people happening in albania's main city, Tirana.

You can watch it here http://www.tivu.al/ <---- new update, the many sites depicting this have ALL been taken down, through mass ddos attacks

This is over political corruption, caused by the prime minister who has blatantly stolen millions if not billions of dollars from the public.

Currently, the waves of people are fighting the police, with rocks and whatever else, i'm glued to my seat.

Should people like the prime minister even be allowed to live?

Found a new article on it: http://www.kansascity.com/2011/01/21...nia-rally.html

The albanian media says there are over 300,000 people, 1/5th of the city, but idk.

Video of the prime ministers lackey taking a 700,000 euro offer in exchange for a seat of power: http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-540401

Article about the corruption: http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-540814?ref=feeds/latest

The SP currently is holding 3 more videos over the prime minister, sali berisha's head, as ilir meta already resigned, but has yet to be arrested for his evils.

The big problem is that America, and several other big countries are SUPPORTING the prime minister.

The revolution has erupted into a mini-civil war

E: lawmakers have called for the protest to end, we'll see what happens.

In my opinion the people such as their prime minister should be exiled from the country. Leaving it to the people wishing to get rid of him from outside the country. But... if I got a chance on him, I'd drag him into a dark room letting me do my own personal business. They may live but if it were up to me I'd sentence them to torture. Sick people...

Probably not, protests happen often, but they have never been this big and violent, the opposition to the prime minister is leading it and said they will remove him from power by force, as he has refused to resign.

Well, its down to what the prime minister does, the mob was pushed back by live fire, that left 3 dead and scared everyone else.

If he resigns its an obvious life sentence in jail for causing the death of like 70+ people while he was prime minister, along with his son, who aided in causing the death of 27 people in Gerdec.

At this point, it is a dictatorship, I mean seriously, LIVE ROUNDS on a CIVILIAN mob?

sali berisha (the prime minister) should just die and go to what ever hell exists. That little fuck is holding Albania back and screwing my people over. Sorry for the cussing if anyone is offended.

I have some friends who immigrated from Albania to the U.S. and they still have family and friends over there.

This is crazy.
