a few small corrections, as requested:

Dismembered = A joint that has broken off of either Uke or Tori
Fractured = A joint that has been rendered permanently relaxed and can rotate more that normal
Voo-Doo\Zombie = The use of a body part that has been dismembered
Engage Distance = The distance (in centimeters) tori and uke start apart from each other. Negative figures make tori and uke start back-to-back
Engage Height = The distance (in centimeters) tori and uke start above the ground. Negative figures make tori and uke start under the ground (and force them to immediately jump up, usually)
Dojo = A square on the ground. if you touch the ground anywhere outside of it you automatically get Disqualified
Limp = A fighting style in which you do not use the hold feature

Tori[/SIZE] = The attacker in a match

Uke = The defender in a match

one would think is tori being the defender since he is the previous winner

and uke being the attacker since his aim is to beat tori and procede to the next bout

That depends on whether it's SP or MP...

And also:
Madman = A replay that has Uke being broken multiple times in a fast succession (spelling?)
A replay that makes 10 dismembers over a period of 5000 frames wouldn't exactly
be a madman in my opinion...

nope. tori is attacker b/c you play as tori in single player, and also the word "tori" means "one who performs an attack" and "uke" means "one who recieves an attack". look it up.
I don't actually play. Very often. If you want me, schedule a time. Don't count on luck.
