Question regarding "moral?" use of scripts such as movemaker etc.
Hello all,

Just redownloaded this game yesterday, fun to be back. Been looking around playing with a bunch of things and reading up and what not. Discovered scripts, and one that grabbed my eye was move maker.

Do alot of people use this? is it okay to use it? since it ruins the game a bit if people just click a button and get a nice opener.

But then again in all the good modes openers dont really mean much anyway, mainly have a strong impact in judo i assume. But even that wouldnt all the kiddies just press a button in judo?
How does creating a move and saving it ruin the game?

The only difference is that the button makes it easier to remember more moves.

Movemaker gives you two advantages:
1. "Remembering" a lot of moves
2. Entering your moves quickly

1 isn't really an advantage. I know all my moves by heart.
2 may defeat the timer but I don't think that's a problem. The goal of Toribash is not to enter your moves as quickly as possible. The timer is there to limit the time you have for thinking, not for entering your moves. Plus a lot of times out-of-the-box moves don't do exactly what you want to do, you have to teak them a little bit.

So I don't think using scripts like that ruins the game.
Signature temporarily out of order.
