Sometimes people have bad interneties or whatever but what if we were able to select an option to stop downloading peoples customs? It'll probably prevent a bit of pings and what not. I've been told you can change the permission in the customs folder but why not make it an obvious option?

Keep in mind a that'll also stop it downloading mod files when it needs them.

I never knew that was an option either. What if the gui option could distinguish the DL for customs and mod files?

Honestly, I would appreciate having the option to enable of disable categories of downloads, even if I personally would not make use of it.

It would be great if it was in the advanced options. Additionally it wouldn't waste space on a user's HDD or SSD with customs he may not care to see and would rather have the drive space.

U can disable textures from options. This way it only downloads the headtexture. Downside is that u dont see your own textures, if u care about that.
