[Origin] Do's and Don'ts of an Application
Ok, so, I've seen so many uncreative and basic applications that I'm deciding to make my own guide!

Listen up kiddies! If you want to be accepted into [Origin]
You must know how to write atleast 1/2 decent applications!

I for one, am not that good at applications, but I still know how to get it done well.

For starters, please put thought into your applications.
We want to get to know you as A PERSON, not as a guy who just wants to get into a really good clan to brag to his friends.

Your application should include information such as what you like to do, any previous accounts, and stuff like that.

But never EVER say something like "I'm funny but serious when needed"

We'll be able to tell (if you put thought into your application) if you're funny or not and mature or not.

Secondly, put emotion into it

As I said before, we want to know you as a person.
You can help us do this by including your own emotions in it.

Don't just be all stuck up and serious when writing this.
We like to see people joking around like they know us, rather than being super formal.

Thirdly, we do still care about your in game skill and activity.

Although I have been saying put emotion into it, make it funny and nice to read, that doesn't mean we don't care about how you play in game.
This is a prestigious clan that only a select few can get into.
You should not only state your in game skills, but should also be able to prove it.

[Origin] Expects you to be in game for at least an hour at a time.
I know this is a bit of a stretch for some people, and that's ok.
If you simply can't do it, so what.
But you should be noticeably active if you get accepted into this clan.

Fourthly, make your application free form

I hate seeing those same old applications that are just lists.
They give me cancer.

Make it free form, and appealing to the eye. We like to see people who put more than 5 minutes of effort into their application.

Do
Not

Ever
Type

It
Like

This.

That is the biggest no no for making a good application.
Never EVER type it like that, chances are you will be denied.
We want you to type it like an essay.

And anyways, length doesn't really matter.

You could type a 10 paragraph application, but it could be full of the shittiest material you've ever read.
Here in [Origin], we judge applications based on quality, not just length.
Anybody can type something good if they try.

That brings me to my next point.

Fifthly, put time and effort into your application

An application that's only 3 lines long simply won't do.
I know what you're thinking right now. "BUT YOU JUST TOLD US LENGTH DOESN'T MATTER! WTF DUDE!"
Calm your titties.
I know I said that, but that doesn't mean something I could type in 3 minutes is acceptable.
It should be something that you put a minimum of 15 minutes into.
We don't really care about length, once again, because if it's just that short, and you put "Accept me into the clan"
and just a little bit of information about yourself in, chances are you're gonna be denied.

But yeah, you can make it short, just keep in mind what I just said.

Anyways, here's an example of a good application:

Good Application

It makes for a great application!

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Oh and also, don't forget to read the first post of the application thread itself.
If you really want to join this clan, you'll do everything you can <3
