how to attach 2 objects while making a mod
hi so i want to make a sword (im new to mods) but idk how to make it so the bottom part will stick to the blade, they fall at eachother
pls help

i'd be glad to help! ill edit this post once im finished writing. you can also request a teacher! i hope you continue to mod. its not as hard as it looks!
next to the objects tab you should see joint objects. click on that and click the button that says one (near the top)
this is your first joint object
click the box to enable the object
click the box for one and two
(im assuming these are the objects you picked for your sword)
the objects are now connected. the range of the joint should be 0 so the sword blade does not spin
now put the joint where the two objects collide. (dont worry if they are inside eachother) use the coordinate boxes dont drag!
now set the mass to both objects to .0005 or something
they are usually very heavy depending on size. (it actually does mean mass! most games sre referring to weight.)
this was a lot of writing for a simple task but it isnt hard at all.

dont forget to uncheck the visible box when you finish!
