Yeah I did it with the pentool and I gradient filled them. :B

You should have added a layer mask and have the lights fade out to the end.
Also the upper light looks rather bad when it is above the tori. And the attempt to make it look like some part of it is behing the head didn't work out very well.

i would not add any animation to the picture, the glow looks nice though. the sig looks pretty good, i just dont like the shadow. its too dark in my mind, but thats no problem at all
