Once there was an elite group of fighters known as the Apex Clan. In their glory days, the heroes of the clan protected the glory lands against rogues, and for a time were able to keep the peace. But, as their members withered away into the abyss of time, so did the famous clan, never to be heard from again. Recently, the clan has resurrected from the shadows to protect the lands once again. Many heroes of old, such as their fearless leader MindStorm, are said to be among them. The days beyond look full of hope, as the clan is once again watching over the lands.

From MindStorm to Apexclan: 10,000tc
Ah, so where to start. Apex has a long and rich history. We've been around for two years at this point, and through that time have done quite a few amazing feats. Lets start at the beginning, the real beginning...
Apex was founded by MindStorm (At the time known as TheMindStormMan). The clan had one goal at the time, and that goal was to get rank 1. We wanted to be official, we wanted to be active on the forums, and we wanted to have a good reputation, but there was nothing we wanted more than the title of rank 1. The clan system was still in it's early genesis, so Apex members knew that if they worked hard enough this goal was attainable.
And so they worked. Between training, recruiting, and clan warring, our clan members became absolute masters at the game. Lead by the 4-headed force of MindStorm, Kasiusis, MiddleNut, and Skittleman, there was seldom a war that was not won.
And then, one day, the goal was reached. Apex claimed their place in history, and reached their goal.
However, when it came to retaining rank 1 it was not meant to be. The clan started choking. They started getting restless, cocky, and content. So, when we dropped down from rank 1 after reaching our goal it was to no suprise.
And thus closed the book of Apex V.1, only to be opened yet again six months later. (Visit page 89 of the clan thread to witness this)
During this second reincarnation of Apex, the goal remained just about the same. Falling into old habits, the clan was doomed to fail from the moment of it's conception. We recruited based on strength ingame, and not loyalty. We fought to win, and didn't care what it took. Like a fierce tornado, Apex rose up and caused massive destruction, but then as quickly as it spawned, it died again.
And thus came the golden age. Apex revived once again, however this time with new motives. Their goal was not a number on a leaderboard, but to make an impact on those they met. Recruitment became based off of character, personality, and dedication. Wars became about the enjoyment, and the struggle of the fight. And most importantly, the clan became about a community. One that anyone would feel welcomed into.
And thus brings us to today. Where Apex's shifted focuses has brought it to a new goal. The goal of becoming an official Clan.
Through all of the changes Apex has made, there has still remained one constant. That constant is their drive to set a goal and do whatever it takes to achieve it. Apex will be here today, and will stay for tomorrow, because that is part of the name. We are Apex. For now and Forever.
