Re: ok this is more of a question
directional speed or direction period?
how would i convert that to say km/h?
Re: ok this is more of a question
velocity in universal terms is usually in ms/1 and to convert that to km/hr I think it's divide by 1000 then multiply by 3600(60*60) and the answer should be in km/hr...

ms/1 is meters per second

Leg is flying at 500 ms/1

km/hr = 500/1000*3600
     = 1800
don't unban, he has hard coded userid bypasses everywhere.

yepp, correct.

not bad right
Re: ok this is more of a question
in the wise words of hampa
"displacement = velocity * time"
eh... ill figure out the exact formulae later
and that would make you head move at approx 18 km/h straight up
Re: ok this is more of a question
close to mach 1 ;)

Mach 1 = 340.29 m/s (1225 km/h)

Re: ok this is more of a question
i founded it
the exact linear speed is ( the 2's are squared i cant do much in basic html)
_________
\/X2+Y2+Z2 = total speed
see hampa i told you it'd have to be averaged
the angle however is alot more complicated
man now i have contibuted positively to the excellence of toribash
Re: ok this is more of a question
you mean this:

√(x2 + y2 + z2) = v

where v is the velocity
This formula is known as 3D Pythagoras.

use [ sup ] and [ /sup ] to do the squares.
I has a flavour
Re: ok this is more of a question
yeah... why didnt hampa tell me this before?

I'm quite sure I told you to use pythagoras ;)

Looks like TB has contributed to a players math studies. That makes me happy
